About Lisa's Filipino Cuisine

Lisa's Filipino Cuisine is a filipino restaurant in National City, California. It is listed at 1210 E Plaza Blvd, National City, CA 91950, which places it among the local businesses of National City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In National City, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 416 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

National City is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around National City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It was our first time getting food here. And we did not regret. Everything single thing we ordered tasted homemade. Delicious! Service was given with a smile. The portions were generous and very affordable. Please give the cook(s) our compliments. We can't believe we only found you just now. Thank you so much! We will be going here regularly now.

If you’re craving authentic home-cooked cuisine, this is a place you definitely need to visit. Their dishes are amazingβ€”especially the papaitan, kare-kare, pork and chicken adobo, and their vegetable dishes.

I've been coming here for a few years now and I never reviewed this place before it is honestly a go to for Filipino food in the area. They have everything here and not just on specific days but every day! They have diniguan, sisig, lechon and it's consistent, they never run out! I walked in and it was pretty spacious with plenty of seating. They had a glass window in groin with a view of the grill where they cook their chicken on a stick. I ordered a combo plate with rice, diniguan and bistek. The rice was cooked perfectly, the diniguan and bistek were more on the sour side for me than I'm used too but still good. Such a good place and so many fresh options to chose from!

Very hospitable, friendly and welcoming establishment. I found this place off reviews and was delighted to be able to try sisig and their lechon kawali braised in sauce - both were delicious. The sweet lady at the counter was very kind and patient explaining which items selected and offered me a complimentary sinigang soup for takeaway with the lunch combo. It was a generous serving, great value, and endearing service. Plenty of seating within the restaurant to dine in and also small retail stand to purchase additional products.

This place serves the most flavorful Filipino food. The is the best pancit I have had! I did try some new dishes this visit. So I apologize for not having the names of everything. Also the service was amazing. It was my friend's first time here and he was given a soup(apologize for not knowing the name) and the fried bananas(?name?) to try.. I tried them also.. Delicious πŸ˜‹ Definitely recommend. Delicious and filling. Great prices!!
